bramz7
Still up in Scotland, but took a break from visiting the hospital today to visit Blairgowrie as it's the biggest town round here that isn't a tourist trap or Perth. Decided to go back to Aberfeldy via Pitlochry, so A93 and then A924. Wow. Stunning driving roads despite the water. The latter was more or less dead the entire way from Bridge of Cally, and it was amazing. The Alfa didn't feel under any pressure at all, despite the rear suspension wobble, the precise handling and throttle response made my afternoon really. I should have taken better photos further up the road but there wasn't really any pull in places. chancer, Six-cylinder, HMC and 10 others
clayts450
Streetwise trying its best to pop its top hose and subsequently cause kettling. wuvvum
Looks like there's a bit of spare length there to play with, would it not be possible to just slice off the bulgy bit and refit the hose a bit lower down? clayts450
Mr_Bo11ox
Yeah defo, or you could buy a silicone hose angle bit and joiner of some sort and 'make a new end for it' clayts450

Not the original but a replica, presumably by Fiberglass Freaks who seem to be knocking them out at a fair rate. Good enough for me though! This car is a defining icon from my childhood. The only thing that could beat it is Thunderbird 2. She's literally made my Christmas. stonedagain, Six-cylinder, wuvvum and 8 others

Bren
Did the gearbox oil in the passat again. What was drained was only a few weeks old - no longer clear - honey colour. New (better) oil went in. Not driven it yet but wife reckons it is better. And I have seen a vectra estate for sale not far from me..... paulplom
I drove an nearly new '02 iveco back in the day. The gearbox then was terrible. Very random whether you got the gear you were going for. All in all it was very cheap and agricultural. I had a 2004 ducato at the time and it was leagues ahead.

BorniteIdentity
Took the Sierra to work this morning in a bid to cheer myself up. I've got a wet arse (unsure whether it's a leak or just damp) and it was a bit reluctant to start. Still zero heating so that needs attention, and the clutch continues to slip. Still - the sight of that nose poking out in the car park cheered me up no end! wuvvum, The Moog, egg and 19 others

Supernaut
Got home about an hour ago. The van I now have for the foreseeable future is a 69 reg Iveco Daily. When I left Stoke earlier it had 323 miles on the clock. It's now got over 700 and a generous coating of road grime. Short review: Cruise control and DAB radio are good. Suspension on the driver's seat also good. However it's fucking massive, loses speed on some hills, and why does it need a flat-bottomed steering wheel? The pies from Tebay were good.
