4.8 litre v8 engine is mint no problems however requires a new battery as well as headlights as they were stolen

Is this “low cost big liability” next door to @Yoss?

Ooh, it does look like me doesn't it. But the nearest I've been to Wolverhampton with green Favorit was probably the day I picked it up from Telford.

Not surprised it's sold. That was a screaming deal we won't see again anytime soon. One of those cars you have to take the risk for and immediately offer a deposit and collection plan.

It's mad how things change - I bought my E430 estate in 2019 for £250, as the lad who owned it was getting messed around for his asking price of £400! It still had 6 months of ticket on it when I collected it and was cleaner than the E320 CDI I recently picked up for my mrs.

We will ignore the fact that the gearbox shit itself just before the MOT, but I do think it had something to do with me driving it through a flood around that time 😅

This looks absolutely epic. E430 in a fantastic spec from a long term owner in what seems to be remarkable condition, at a bargain price! Absolutely would.

This can only really be topped by an E55 in similar condition.

@purplebargeken, this is perfect and comes with that hook you've been asking for

This very specific model is ridiculously popular in Mongolia for some reason. These and Toyota Priuses. Very strange.

Cracking vans these, especially with the turbo engine.

Yep, great vans but nearly ended badly the one time I drove one. Our then lodger, now brother in law, was moving out and he was service manager for the local Hyundai dealer so borrowed one of these for the move. Last trip and he asked me to drive it so he could take his Honda CBR600 (I think, long time ago). I was used to Transits so thought nothing of it, until I approached him on the bike, stationary at the first junction and went to brake. Fuck!! Yanked the handbrake on before I punted his bike across the junction. The steering column is in the way between the accelerator and brake, like a 7.5 tonne and I’d not expected that. Close shave!
