    The catch shouldn't be too hard to find, most Renaults 5/9/11/19/21 of that era use the same one, there's bound to be someone breaking one with that catch on it.

    A lot of 25s have that stance. The rear suspension tends to be weak or it could have had new front shocks fitted recently

    Any more details about the gearbox repair? My V6 renner 25 had it's autobox rebuilt last year ( same 4141 box ) . The guy said the clutch packs were the worst burned out ones he'd ever seen. I've only driven the car about 5 miles since but it now looks like I have OMGHGF! Hope you're having better luck with your prv engine and box

    Tail lights are easy enough to come by, there was a pair for sale on the 25 faceache page a few months ago.

    Following this thread with great interest. I'm currently doing the head gasket on a 25 Monaco which was previously laid up for 20 years. Mine has a lot of the same problems as yours, seam sealer split on inner wing causing rot behind it, heater blower not working. I repainted the rear spoiler due to lacquer peel but it unfortunately it reacted, so just painted it with matt black and it looks pretty good.

    Speedo is in km's so it's possibly an import from Ireland. The diesel models have a good rep for reliability. A lot of taxi drivers in Dublin were using them last time I was there.
