Sudsprint
No more information I am afraid- just an old family photo and a comment from my late Aunt that one of my great uncles built it in the 1950s spartacus
JeeExEll
Ohh yeahhhh!! I like that very much, especially the slide back roof canopy. Definitely a reason to wear a suit and tie whilst partaking in the art of driving. Even the dog's impressed. Pressed the 'like' button 20 times but only one recorded. sierraman
What’s the little moustache thing at the front made from? The roof reminds me of one of those WW2 Morrison shelters. Still it probably kept him out of trouble for many a night building it. I wonder what on earth became of it? Driving that camper must have been an experience, a bit like piloting a terraced house from the upstairs bedroom. Wouldn’t fancy a crosswind in one... At a guess it might have been my great uncle John, in which case both he and the aluminium babe magnet are long gone up in that garage in the sky. anonymous user
It's a George Clarke Amazing Spaces garden room bidet facility, based on a Hardly-Likely electric milk-float, this must not be confused with the Hardly-Worthitt milk-float which pre-dates it and which had an on board Lister generator to charge the batteries if used in locations that did not yet have mains electricity. stonedagain, skoda_fan, Sudsprint and 2 others 1

Amishtat
Think that was a 3-litre Bentley underneath, I half remember reading a magazine article about it a few years ago.
