GrumpiusMaximus
The best part of it was when it was axed in 2010. I dunno if I have a subconscious hatred of it because last of the summer wine meant bath time and bed for school the next day when I was a bairn. I remember it being on when I was a toddler. Then I remember it still being on when I was University. I gather that by the time I was a toddler, it was already past its best... dozeydustman
dollywobbler
I have just booked my flight to New Zealand. I land on 24th October. The furthest I've flown in my life so far is Bulgaria. This is rather exciting. blakey79, brownnova, MorrisItalSLX and 14 others
HMC
I went to see a mate today and got to have a smoke around in his Marina 1.8 SDL which he's just got back on the road, it's quite shabby, the arches have been welded up and still have bare filler and it's a bit rusty but it drives really nicely and it's a hell of a lot quicker than mine, quite fancy a 1800 now!Lovely colour, wonder that it’s official BL name is? It was just unfunny shite. Although they did revive the format for the Top Gear relaunch with Clarkson May and the other one. BeEP
Another thing, MSE says autoaid is going up to £60 from £48 on 15th May, so act now if you want to get it. I think this was inevitable once they ditched the 'pay and reclaim' model. Last year increased from £42 to £48. Presumably will end up in line with the more traditional providers. Shame! egg

That means 61. You're either SORN'd or paying VED. I wonder who the two are that have 'found' a V5? I'm sure you'll know! LightBulbFun
LightBulbFun
I want to say one or 2? are TPA621M, as she was Taxed, then SORNed by accident by the DVLA then taxed again all within about a week during January tho they say Q4 2018, when do they start and end the quarter? otherwise im not actually sure AFAIK TPA is the latest invacar to hit the road etc the weird thing is a bunch have year of manufacture/first registration in the 2000s/2010s, only a few seem to actually show up properly does the place where howmanyleft get this data from also include the registration numbers? egg
No registration numbers for Data Protection reasons - data is an aggregated download from DVLA database, I believe originally obtained under FOI. Q4 will probably be 31/12/18. LightBulbFun

tommotech
After the NEC Restoration Show I agreed to recommission the Panther Rio that was the star of the Panther stand. It had already had sills and paintwork done, to a decent standard but it didn’t run too well, dash woodwork looked sorry for itself and only 3 electric windows worked. A/C was disconnected (belt and tensioner missing) and the bonnet alignment was poor. Quite a job list added to a full service and MOT as well as a desire to have electronic ignition fitted. Having got it on the lift earlier today I looked at it for potential MOT issues. Sadly the right front chassis rail is badly deteriorating below the battery (a famous Dolomite trait) and the subframe needs to come down to make a proper job of it. Otherwise not too bad, but it’s now a long term project and will go on the back burner until Autumn time. catsinthewelder, The Moog and GrumpiusMaximus
