Just the money?

It's you're too...as in 'you are'...

Seems cheap for a brass era antique, but this really could use some fresh layers of period correct paint couldn't it? Peeling off everywhere...

didn't dr who (ok, it was John Pertwee) drive something like this, called Bessie?

Wasn't Bessie a yellow Model T? (Or supposed to be)

It was a Siva Edwardian.  I used to see one of them in Aylesbury when I lived there in the 1970s, though I was more interested in the Siva Saluki which was also around at the time.  Aylesbury was Siva's sales centre.

That’s interesting; the Hupmobile has it’s flywheel on the “wrong” end of the crankshaft.
Never seen that before, for obvious torsional crankshaft resonance reasons.

I'd imagine that with an engine that's probably flat out at 1500rpm it's less of an issue than with a whizzy modern unit.

@garethj

And I raise the moon miles with this one "....the clock says it has done more miles than the millennium falcon..." (it's  in the description)

(P.S. check out the gear lever)

That has now transformed into a 1.6.

Wonder why the date of last logbook issued was only in 30 July 2021?

The fucking state of it!

I wouldn't pay £57.50 for it, let alone the £5,750 they're asking.

There was one at FOTU, in rather better nick than that one.

This one?

I wonder what happened to @Mr_Bo11ox Argenta? ATV73Y hasn't been MOTd since 2015 apparently, which seems a shame after all the work he did to it. I've just found his car loan thread from 2013 - was it really that long ago?! Looks like the 'Fiat lad' never did anything with it when he bought it in 2018...
