I'm not 100% sure how many AS owners its had, deffo yourself @Bear, twice @Jim Bell, @garellikatia and I think @flat4alfa, might have missed someone? Apologies if I have.

So 5/6 including us. 13 previous keepers on the V5.

Still running sweet as a nut and passed another MOT last month.

Well let's see... First AS car I bought turned out to be one of the Bikes already mentioned: the black Nissan Cherry mentioned by @catsinthewelder.  I then had a white Volvo 940 estate from @rawy and sold it to one of the SVM who came down en masse to collect it!

The order might get a bit confused here, but...

Burgundy Saab convertible (owned three times and now back where I got it!)

Green MG ZT

White Citroen Xantia estate

Blue Citroen C3

Green Volvo 850 estate (as seen in an earlier post, N425 HOY)

Not to mention, of course, the Rover 220 that I never collected and sold to @omegod for a Whippy 99.  I still haven't been paid for that...

Which reminds me, I collected from him a blue Rover 75 that @taxi paul had Roffled; not sure how many had it before Paul.

I've probably forgotten one or two...

Yeah, I think I got it from @JohnK and roffled it to @eddyramrod although he never took custody off it and sold it to @omegod who collected it from me.

I think we should get this car dragged to a Shitefest location or something where we can spend the weekend resurrecting it whilst drinking cider. I'd happily chip in on costs etc and can bring my sparkly stick.

It went to @Cavcraft after me then was up in Scotland where it appeared in a dogging scene in Still Game I think, would love to see it resurrected as it went like shit off a shovel

Happy to fetch this up to the upcoming northern Twixfest if someone will subsidise my fuel costs and @Schaefft is amicable to such activities.

If anyone's feeling really brave get in contact quick.

I shouldn't ask.

But how brave would one need to be?

Asking out of curiosity more than anything.

Thankfully I've enough on with rusty cars to just be able to resist it.

If we can get the thing running for it to drive out of here on its own I'd absolutely be up for that. Alternatively I have a Lincoln here that needs its gearbox swapped.😂

My 620ti has started it's (slow) journey as a forum bike! Purchased by @montytom from a member of the public, who then roffled it on, being won by @fatharris and then I swooped in 6 months ago to save it from getting fragged after a colourful MOT fail, making me the 3rd AS owner

I do plan on keeping it for the foreseeable so it's not going to be keeping up with the some of the numbers above 😅

If this thing surfaced and needed help I’d be keen to bring it back to the Forum

I’m not particularly a Citroen licker but this colour combo was tasty.

The V6 XM can just about participate in here. Like many cars it was originally introduced by @HMC, I bought it on a whim while on holiday (which turned out to be a great decision, I really liked it) until @Rocket88 bought it from me. I think it improved with every owner. It was eventually traded in at a classic car dealer I think, not sure what happened to it after that.

When I last saw it, quite some years ago now, I'd have given it a 7/10 braves required.

I was offered it for something silly like £200 but the widespread crispiness, including tricky bits like the windscreen surround, gave me the fear...

Of course,  compared to the decrepit shit I've kept since  it wasn't that bad.

I did contemplate dragging it over to Shitefest last year same as it was only 30 minutes away but I don't have a suitable trailer and I didn't want to end up with it stuck there.

If anyone's really keen to have a go you're welcome to come over and try.  I'm about halfway down the Welsh border but I don't think there's much point any more.  Theres barely any extra visible rust but I imagine its crispy underneath by now.

I think I still have the spare key for this. If it turns up again I’ll give you a shout!

Was that the crowd funded BX? Completely lost track of what happened to that in the end.

That’s right. After a very quick Google I’ve found recent activity about it still existing and being cared for.

The first Forum Bike I had was the Cherry.
I bought it off @eddyramrod who I think Bought it off @MrDuke

Then I had that troublesome Burgman that has been doing the rounds and currently the death bike RW6 that is in bits having sharted its carb and petrol tank cracked.

Oh and my son did a year or two out of that ex @Jim Bell Yaris before it got punted on to someone else on here.

What about this 205 Inca, off the top of my head I bought it from @yes oui si and sold it to @Supernaut?

Believe it's been owned by @Jim Bell, @RetroShite and a few others?

pug 205.jpeg

I sold it on to @Tickman who welded up the boot floor before passing the baton.

I'm confused. This thread isn't about bikes at all.

I know right. Just a bunch of promiscuous cars thriving on the hollow thrill of another change of owner.

I bought this XM off Ebay on a Saturday night after a few drinks, it then went to @Heidel_Kakao in exchange for the Volvo below. HK then sold it on to another forum member who maybe still has it?

Parked in France

The Volvo sold to a chap who flew down from Scotland and drove it back and its been on sorn ever since.

Now sold

Knowing how many of our Scottish crew like their Volvos, was it someone on the forum?

I know at least a couple of people @Ghosty, @SRi05 have had this one, which I still own six years later, since sporting Belgian and Dutch plates!  The other Prelude I got from @JohnK, which went 5.5 months into it's 6 month COVID extension MOT for £1400 towards the Lexus. There was also the Saab 900 @jonathan_dyane sold me that I know was owned by a few people too.

I tried to buy that from UncleFester. Glad it's still about, love that car.

@DSdriver I gave the XM to @dean36014 after it was broken in to.

Shame that the 940 has been SORN for so long as it was a good old bus.
