What's the story here?

I mean I could read the Wiki entry but I'd rather hear it from someone who knows about Chryslers.

I presume Maserati was owned by Chrysler at some point, so they span this off with absolutely zero Maserati content.

Something like that. But they were built by Maserati in Italy and the engines (apart from the V6 I think) were assembled by Maserati too

That does look nice, but a shame it's had a mk2 front panel fitted (just like the one I sold to @Fabergé Greggs)

Oooh that’s a nice one. I find these really sensitive to colour combinations. I adored mine, and this white with red is really nice. But black, red, always look a bit meh to me. Hope that doesn’t render me too superficial!!

First time in a long time I see a Galant Liftback of this generation pop up for sale!

This one is more expensive, higher mileage and in rougher shape than the one I had, yet it's still looking tempting and is probably a good deal at 750 quid!

This one comes fitted with Toyota's bollard detection system. When a bollard is detected while reversing, it makes a noise like crunching metal.

Missed out on the cheap AS GS300 last October? Here's the change to own a very similar example at a similar bargain price. Worth it all day long:

Sadly, 'tis gone. That's worth it just for the 2JZ engine. Someone will buy that and steal the engine. They're very sought after - very tunable, bags of torque.

I can proudly say I owned one of these. Absolute nightmare. There's a reason you don't see them on the road.

Brake issue? Budget £900 for that. Every single thing that went wrong with it (and it did) cost a fortune. It's worse than Mercedes and BMW not being able to get pattern parts. Everything only ever seemed to be available from Alfa.

No 2JZ in this one, this is the generation when Toyota replaced their i6s with V6s, rock solid engines as well. But yeah, the previous gen GS300 had been ridiculously cheap for what you got as well.

Ah ok. 3GRs? The 2GR was the one to have - GS350/IX350. Don't know much about the 3s.

I see also from your thread you've enjoyed the quirks of an Alfa. Not have a 146 like the one mentioned above?

Says only problem is heater fan stopped working.

Now the HBOL says you need to drop the steering column plus possible the clutch pedal to get to it assuming you are also a contortionist.

Actually you can get at it in less than 10 minutes without any of that fucking about if you know how.

Would if I wasn't currently 2000 miles away.
