They do have air suspension on the bank I wouldn’t be surprised on a car of this age if it sinks a bit when sitting.

Aye, that's the least of my worries though.

It's still suspiciously cheap, and has a total lack of photos of the nearside.

MOT history isn't bad. My biggest worry would be going to Auchinleck as it could be a honey trap to get an outsider to put in their wicker man.

I suspect just falling into the 90s boring styling, not rare enough yet but expensive to run category. A really nice manual 530d from a decent looking seller failed to get past £1000 at auction which someone shared here not long ago... I reckon these sadly fall into the run it til death builder's car category.

I can already see some typical 480 issues with this (idling a bit low, infocentre not working or very dark, the obvious rusty wheel arches) and that sunroof is usually something I'd recommend to avoid as they are often just another cause of water leaks.  Brilliant cars though...

Bargain! Think they're actually A55 MK1 judging by the thumbnail, which is the model I own. Do you have a link? I'm struggling to find it in their catalogue.

It's hard to find. It's under buy it now plant auctions. On page 2 near the bottom.

It's striking how similar to my Alfa 147 that is. In terms of the layout and location of various interior parts, the vents etc.  Then you get to the engine bay and it's all very similarly laid out too.

I went to the golf yesterday. If you had a BMW (or Mini or RR) you got to park in a special car park for free.

I wonder if this would have qualified?

No BMW Chod unfortunately (I was really hoping that someone would rock up in a badly beaten 1994 316 compact)

Yes all that really looks salvageable are the rear lights and the interior, that one looks like trouble
