I nearly bought a C-reg one once in the mid 90s; it was the softest, vaguest thing I’d ever driven and I wasn’t ready for the lifestyle change at the time. Would now though. Reading up on them and apparently the press of the era didn't much like the engine as the turbo spools up with start up, meaning it's super smokey and loud first thing. Perfect WBOD in which case. I remember seeing the advert for this back in the summer. It was on for £2.5k. Now at £2.3k. The front bumper looks quite scuffed so I wonder if there's a multitude of sins waiting to be uncovered. I can just imagine giving it three preheat cycles before it rattles into life on a freezing morning.
