Dvla will not issue a logbook for this car

Hmmmmmm sounds bit suss

@LightBulbFun any ideas????

ExportMarker=Yes will be why, looks like it was exported to somewhere, in 2017, 1st of November 2017 I think

so that will be why, in theory should be relatively easy to get the marker removed and and a logbook re-issued, but there could be issues surrounding unpaid duty fees etc that might be complicating matters

hard to say without more details on the specific history of the vehicle and what correspondence has been had with the DVLA thus far

It's got the wrong engine, but also didn't they only start making the Flareside ones around 1993.

I think your right, on an E plate that would have the “narrow” rear axle which looks wrong with the flare side bed

I mean we must nearly be at the cut off point where Only fools and horses is a distant memory for anyone who doesn't have UK_Gold and anything with 3 wheels doesn't have to be painted yellow?

At least he’s not claiming it was used in the show and so is worth £30k.

Wife’s Grandfather had a Metro with the same engine and he reckoned he could get about 60odd mpg when driven carefully ie slipstreaming a Wagon on the M5 all the way to Weston super mare

Has recently done LE-JOG apparently!

So, as mentioned before, one thousand miles in four days, averaging thirty-two miles to the gallon (to be confirmed), with no major breakdowns (well, nothing that took more than five minutes to fix), without any punctures and with the original clock working all the way. The only modern perk (sorry!) was a sat nav, as there’s no speedometer!

similar equivalent MPG to @Kiltox😲😁

Had to do an oil change en route! (500 mile intervals)

Ford Escort Serenade 16V 1.6Petrol Manual | eBay

'perfect for anyone looking for a reliable and stylish car'

It's a Ford Escort, FFS, about as 'stylish' as an oozing genital wart.
