DoctorRetro
Filled up the tank from empty for a trip to Wales this weekend. 45 litres , or 63 quid. 😳 Just as well I can coax over 45 mpg out of it!

DoctorRetro
Popped into town today to get my second upgrade jab. Parked next to this monstrosity. There looks to be at least the 1.6mm required over the centre 3/4 of the width, and there are no cords showing. Would pass an MOT test. (Just!) DoctorRetro
Not much to update, I've replaced the Renault alloys with Mini steels, repaired the cracked mirror and done a hill climb at Shelsey Walsh. Have been toying with selling, because that's what I do, but difficult to see what I'd replace it with that'd be any better. I did see a 'nice' Skoda 120L on Facebook, but it sold before I could pull my finger out and enquire. crad, Cookiesouwest, Low Horatio gearbox and 32 others
dave j
Good job repairing the mirror, most would have chucked it away and bought another.. Although not sure how easy it is to get a replacement mirror for one of these!

One seller wanted 40 quid for a sun visor. 😬

Spurious
Ooooft not a good speed to get caught at. A colleague got caught at 95 in a 70 and was going to get 6 points but he pleaded his case he would loose his job and ended up with 4 from the magistrate. Hope it goes well. Solid Japanese engineering at that speed 🙂 Cord Fourteener
