eBay tat volume 3.

Now, as an enthusiast of old Minis I have to ask the following

1. Why would I pay 17k (!!!!) for this...creation, something that has, sytematically, been made immeasurably worse in every respect than the car that was destroyed in order to create it.

2. What does "IT STARTED OFF AS A MINI MAYFAIR 89 IN BLACK 1971" mean??

3. Who is Mark Croft, FFS?

To finish off, "NEW STYLE REAR LIGHTS WITH LED". Of course. A plague on you.....tit!

I only add this as a terrible warning to others.

2. So it's a ringer then?

'VOLKSWAGEN GOLF 1.4 CLASSIC MK 2 "WHITE-VERY RARE'

'The classic Mark 2 Golf in White--alloys-CD player-mint " non-in the country'

'you have got a highly valuable classic car'

'Classic Golf Mark 2 in White'

'Believe its a Mark 3--apologises'

'Non in the country'

As someone who has recently bridged a white mk3 1.4 golf this advert wound me up so much I was in danger of smashing my phone.

Having said that, would have one again in a trice. Miserable and slow, but solid. A motoring eeyore.

God help me (and I'm not sure why) but I've actually put a bid on this of £260, I only meant to put £50 on but the annoying "hasn't reached it's reserve" message kept coming up.

It still hasn't met it's reserve either now.

I'd like a picture of the interior but CBA with ebay messaging or going to Chippenham for a look.

Verdict: Hopeless would be shitter who should stick to shonky Faits.

That Corsa advert is fantastic, what an absolute fucking nutter.

Which is pretty easy to say if you've just cleared your 104 year old nan's shed out and found some old shit to stick to an elderly caravan.

It actually looks like it was probably far more popular than he bargained for when he went dogging.

(I'm still having a break.  These are special circumstances.)

Interesting. It keeps cropping up locally but seems to have moved onto a dealer. When I saw it another local garage earlier in the year:

The garage it’s now at is worth a visit. They also have a Rover 825 listed at £795 which I photographed there two years ago, when they also had a Subaru SVX. In the office they had some 1980s photos of another garage.
