It's got that wanky overdrive box though. The one and only I ever drove that had was hopeless. The regular driver thought it was great, we just thought it was shit and I think I ended up breaking it somehow when he was off for a week. He moaned like fuck about it (he was one of those 'frustrated trucker' types who'd never have passed an HGV test but seemed to think a Merc 308D was a 38 ton ERF) so IIRC we tuned his radio into Radio1 and glued the switches so he couldn't change the channel.

I too have some spare wheels for that. And now stupid ideas of a 175bhp battered Berlingo.

Ah it would be great. Cheap enough too even adding the one and half it would cost in fuel to frame it back here. Times the killer though and also that id probably crash it of/when complete.

That brings back teenage curvature memories (and the ergonomic ICE setup for the driver)

Has it even been explained who *exactly* decided on that madness in BL?

16-yr old me tried to fit an 'AUDIOLINE' pull out stereo (purchased from Blaydon car boot sale) in the curvy dash of my Morris ital. The stereo was too deep and bumped into the heater box behnd the dash. SO I got an extension bar and hammer and smashed a big hole in the heater box so the radio would go in properly. First time i left it out in the rain, the back of the radio got doused and buggered it up. Now I had no CHOONZ and a big fucking hole in my heater box. Skillz

So far £1649 and it needs a new steering rack. Seems expensive?
