It’s one of the first GL’s with the rear number plate appliqué/trim as they inherited that in the summer of 1984 from the Ghia model. Had my arse handed to me. RobT Posted September 1, 2018 Share Posted September 1, 2018 I remember it had factory aircon and this meant sourcing the replacment for a borked radiator was a ball ache as it was somehow different, and it was an auto which IIRC added further complexity to figuring out what would fit.Yup, that was my excuse for not fixing it, oil cooler pipes for the auto 'box meant the rad was either unobtainium or too expensive. Just needed topping up regularly. I had the same scenario on my Cav auto until I eventually found a replacement. Both those experiences led me to think I could run the ex-Bo11 Rover 623 with a radiator leak. How wrong was I...
