So are the 2.7 and 3.0 diesels quite different then? Not just a rebore of the same engine? Just wondering why the 3.0 was so much more desirable. Petrol would be my preference anyway with or without LPG, I wouldn't use it for work anyway. 

I’ve only driven a 2.7 (same one that’s in Land Rovers and Jaguars) for about half an hour, it’s very lovely but has a reputation for a few things going wrong. 
 

I haven’t driven the 3.0 but am told that it is basically is the next generation of (completely different) Diesel engine and delivers a lot more power, torque and reliability apparently. It is also better on fuel, has better emissions and therefore has lower toad tax.
 

There are about 30 of each UK 3.0 diesels and petrols, so the 3.0 diesels do go quick when they do come up. 

The 2.7 is pretty fantastic to be honest, if you get it looked after by a specialist like BL Autos and everything is caught in time.

That's a quite perceptive comment.   The LV insurance ads were filmed in South Africa using non-UK South African cars bearing UK registration numbers.  So the ads had a parallel-universy feel.  That Mazda Etude was common in South Africa and appeared in one of the ads.  Here's the one I owned back in the day.  Followed by a LV South Africa ad featuring an Austin Apache.

1985 Skoda 120GLS (Estelle) which had a female owner from new to 2011 and was then bought by her nephew who parked it in the garage. 84,500 miles and looks untouched and original. I want this but is unfortunately a few weeks until I can buy a car.

That car has front discs and servo but the advert says nothing about that.

Saying it has no rust must make it very unusual . Those trims fitted over the seams for rear wing and boot decking rot like hell. There is a small patch in the footwell (from the factory) which rusts after the gasket for the plate rots away. Just looked at the MOT history it has failed a number of times due to rot.

The image below seems to show something has gone wrong with the light green paint work. Rear pillar.

I loved that car. Great gearbox and huge boot. Plus I was lucky to have the optional servo discs as they were only standard on the SL90. I too had an 8 track and that was always chewing up tapes.

I've seen far worse aftermarket wheels on Felicias. They're not a million miles from the original Felicia Bohemia wheels except they're a bit bigger.

Yes they are not so bad just feel that the original wheels had made the car appear more untouched. Something that might have suited the car better?

Actually looking at the advert again the original wheels have winter tyres on, so that's even better.

I've never seen heated seats on a standard car. We only had them here on the L&K as that had leather seats, I've never seen them with velour. Obviously we'd have no need over here but probably quite useful in the Scandinavian climate. I really like this. 

How much is 38707 kr in pounds?

There are original summer wheels for it also all cars up here have 2 sets of wheels summer / winter. And seat heaters have almost all cars up here had since the 80s/90s. And the price is about 3149 GBP if I have found the right calculator. And I like it too, this one is unusually nice.

That would be a lot for one over here mainly due to them being rather unfashionable. The most I've seen one up for was £2495 though that didn't look as good as the one above and was for sale for many months before it disappeared.

My cousin's husband restored one of these a few years ago, it was the same colour as the blue bits of this one.
