I think you know. I think we all know.

I know applications engineers who had PHD's in Computational Fluid Dynamics and 20 years experience of designing turbo's who have managed to make a twin turbo system work on a test bed, but fixed the cost issue by designing the Variable Nozzle Turbo instead.

It's a factory setup, taken off a Saab 9-3 TTID, which they sold for several years, so I'm pretty sure it works. Whether they are reliable, I don't know. They used to sell TTID Vivaros as well I think, don't know if it's the same setup, but I assume it is.

All sorts of cars have had twin-turbo setups over the years, off the top of my head the Mk4 Supra is probably the most famous example of a factory sequential setup, various BMWs have had them as well.

Is this yet another half arsed Ford special edition?

"fiesta dance" is ungoogleable but this appears to be a 100% normal Fiesta with some incredibly shit graphics applied so all signs point to YES

You can say that again.

Probably a 'dealer special' where they stuck some shit on and created their own 'special edition'.

how ( does ) would that work ? , I can not see all the flow rates been equal /shared / balanced ...

better off switching off no2 , and bringing it into service when No1 is FUBARED and save pots of money on fixing an old car !

So you take energy from the exhaust and use it to compress air, so that you can get more oxygen into the engine. Problem is that it heats up, so you need an intercooler to really make it work. Right.

But the exhaust from the First turbine wheel has lost a lot of energy, so I assume you put it through second turbine wheel, At this point do you compress the air that's already been compressed or compress the inlet into the other compressor.

As you say, you probably need a fucking big super computer.

You can more or less see how it works just by looking at the pictures in the ad:

The exhaust is split between both turbines- possibly with a valve to direct the gas one way at some part of the rev range, which is how Supras and the like to it, in this case I don't know. The larger turbo draws charge air from the atmosphere, the smaller one draws some of the air from the first and then feeds it back in at a higher pressure. It clearly works, it's a factory setup and there's plenty of people offering to remap them to 250+ BHP.
