Cool, if you could also find a non-ripped Grey gear gaitor I'd be very appreciated. I'm interested in the gearstick aswell if it hasn't started losing it's black paint like mine has.

First up for your delectation and delight for all old Ford fans, we have genuine Ford servcie literature for the 1983 model years. This was from when I was with Ford.

It consists of some diagnostic stuff for VV carbs (oh joy) and setting chart for Ford passenger vehicles of 1983 vintage. £4 for donation + posting and packing

 

 

 

 

Next up we have a mix of one speaker from a vehicle unknown.It has a shaped cover so is definitely for a specific vehicle - but what I don't know. Also here are a couple of Blaupunkt user guides. A very useful addition if your latest shite has a similar unit but no instructions.

I could paint it, but it would mean buying a can of satin Black andnpainting it etc... its just easier to find one.

 

They do indeed break easily, because they are a single piece and the clips that hold them on break they do go missing like mine did.

 

Did you find the gear gaitor and gear stick?

Anyone want this? Draper fault code reader, stock number 54732. Triangular connector is for pre-OBD Ford FDS2000+EEC-IV equipped vehicles, so stuff like late Jellymoulds, Scrotes, Onions etc. 2 pin connector is (I think) for that make of cars all of which are shit. I have a PDF of the instructions.

When you select gears it has no drive and makes a horrid sound.

 

I think it is very old, my guess is around 40 years but I can find any information on it. It would suit me to repair this as security is an issue so new new shiny one would be gone in hours.

 

Next time I am up at the field I will try to photograph the gearbox area.

 

Edit - I should have said it is a manual gearbox.
