Does he like FTP Cadillacs !

That's not good Mr6 .....

Back to basics ...

Definite good battery ?

When it ran did it run well ?

Has it done tooo many little journeys whilst it was away ?

Did it drive off the truck or just roll ?

Stick it to one and come down topless in a Herald , don't forget the suncream !

Hope to see you on Wednesday still ????

Ran very well today when started.

We have had it for 4 years and it has always started easily.

Film company say they have had no problems.

I am feeling defeated at the moment.

Bollocks! There is bad news after all.

I’ll still be coming but the Mercury won’t be.

I thought I’d best give it a check over this evening, it’s not been out on the road since last year. Everything seems fine except one front calliper has seized on!

I’ve tried squeezing it in and out but it’s having none of it unfortunately. Piston seems to be stuck solid. Needless to say I can’t drive it like that. I’ll have to get a new one ordered but it’s not going to be a quick thing to get hold of.

Sodding car!

Sorry guys but you’ll have to make do with the Volvo instead.

Sit Rep:

At approx midnight last night a certain big Cadillac had a battery swap. Outcome - a running Cadillac!

Mercury. Stripped one side today, found calliper was ok and a slider had seized. Cleaned up and everything now works as it should. So I will be present in the Mercury.

However some Cadillac repairs may be required at the meet point...

See you all on the hill!

Eddie , you have PM

I think it's the alternator, as it should have been able to run the engine with battery disconnected. It couldn't. Your car needed battery power, so I doubt it's recharging.

You could be in trouble, so I've made a few suggestions by PM, get back to me if I can help.
