eBay tat volume 3.

I think we all know where this is going. I'd like to think it'd be rescued but the advert is so scant in detail, there's no grille, and judging by the height on the front, there's probably no lump in it either. So ready for a 2.3 out of a Galaxy then.

Currently £454 on the Isle Of Man. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Rolls-Royce-Silver-Shadow/402763007687?hash=item5dc68bc6c7:g:sxgAAOSwtEhgWyWL

It's not a Corsa B Floppytop, it's the long lost Australian cousin!!! Hey, where's @Cavcraft This is Oop North (Huddersfield) currently £750 no reserve.

Not sure pink was an original factory colour, but as @DoctorRetro has proved, it's the way forward. Lots of ££££ though, 10 bags to be precise.

I once spent a weekend in the company of a fresh Australian whose main gripe with the UK was "I can't believe you call it a Corsa!"

99p start no reserve,  MG6 Pontefract. Where those horrible "cakes" come from. Wordy advert, and all seems fine and dandy until buried in the text there's a mention of warning lights. Looks well in that colour too.

Such a lovely shape, 3.0 litre slushomatic. Aren't the road tax rates hideous? Can't be arsed to look it up. £99 start.

One wonders what the mentioned but not described "extras" are.

An angry badger perhaps, or even worse, a Bill Oddie

Hilarious to drive, comfy and reliable and sips fuel (I'm still looking for another good one).

This looks like a 2000 140BHP so it may have the oil drinking engine that shits itself. The MOT emissions failure points to that being likely, as these never have problems with that when running well, even from cold.

It’s definitely the sketchy early 1ZZ engine. My father had the same engine in his immaculate, lowish mileage FSH 2001 Celica a few years back. It smoked like a trooper and I had to do  a load of digging with Toyota in order to get them to replace the short block FOC with the revised piston design. It was never an official recall, but Mr T honoured short block replacements for a limited time.

I reckon the fact this one has reached 140k suggests it could well have had the replacement short block.

I sold Vauxhalls when these were current but we never sold a Carlton 3.0 24v at the dealership. We did have two new Senator 3.0 24v MANUALs that had been ordered by mistake by my administrator (should have been Auto), I took one out and enjoyed it very much. We thought we were in deep poo with them being manual , but we had a lucky escape as they were both bought by Borg and Beck for clutch testing.

Always had a love for one of these. If only it had the seats, lights and grill I’d bag that then fit a veg friendly diesel and smoke about sans hubcaps smiling like the idiot I am.

Already watchlisted to within an inch of its life.  These seem to go for a lot of money these days though, for some reason.

Edit: Just noticed it’s an automatic. I think you’d want a manual to wring much driving joy out of the 1.6.

Bought a X plate one back in the day (early 1990's) so it wouldn't have been any more than 10 years old, and it was as rotten as a pear in some interesting places. Lasted about 5 laps IIRC before being disembowelled by a Mk1 Cavalier. 😟
