Outstanding - Field Of Dreams transport right there.
If I was nearer to London this would be a buy

Haven’t seen one of these for a while.  When I was in Korea 20 years ago, my host drove me everywhere in one of these.  We covered 300 miles in the worst of the Seoul traffic over the week and it used about a quarter of a tank of fuel

1983 (Y) FORD SIERRA 2.3 V6 GHIA BARN FIND - ON SALE FROM 99P NO RESERVE

z.thumb.jpg.c600da9a64df8ab1856731f670d97b03.jpg

"The car was originally automatic but the previous owner bought it with a faulty gearbox in 2003 and converted it to manual using donor parts from an XR4i"

Fun fact: 2.3 Sierras all came with an auto box as standard, you could specify a manual gearbox but the price was the same.

Current bid: £335

I wonder what that lock is on the front trimpiece? Cut-off switch or a bonnet lock perhaps?

I think it might be a car alarm, there were some 1980s aftermarket alarms that had external keyholes.
