If this were the infinitely uglier saloon id be having it for old times sakes.

As I probably wrote when it was on here last month, same engine size and trim level as mine. So no PAS or any toys, but surprisingly brisk.

Its being sold by its new owner - in fairness it's a decent ad and they seem to have done some sensible things to ensure it's a useful car.

In searching for it, I also found this pair of low mileage, next-gen Sunnys:

Identical spec, even down to both being manual which is a bit of a surprise. If the rot hasn't already set in* and it can be kept at bay then either of them would make a very decent daily driver. I'd be trying to find the £500 extra for the silver one.

*I looked at buying one in 2003 and even then the arches were going rusty.

They look very nice but who do they think is going to spend £2k on an old 90s Sunny? Not exactly sought after, are they?

I think that shape Sunny was the first Japanese car that didn't look "a bit odd" to me. Others had odd styling or proportions but that one just looked right to me.

But £2k? Not likely.

Shame they went backwards with the next model.

THIS CAR HAS BEEN KEPT  IN  ITS  ORIGINAL  CLEAN STRAIGHT CONDITION  FOR ITS AGE

This is the fucking best sentence I have ever read!

ONLY  ONE  RUST  SPOT  I  CAN  SEE

s-l1600.jpg

The harbinger of a seriously fucked sill.

THIS CAR HAS BEEN IN THE SAME FAMILY FOR ABOUT 20 YEARS

And not one of its members gave a moist fart about it.

THE CAR WAS DRIVING FANTASTIC  BUT  HAS BEEN PARKED UP FOR ABOUT  TWO YEARS NOW  AS  THE IGNITION BARREL  KEPT TURNING AND WOULD NOT  ALLOW THE  ENGINE  TO TURN  OFF

s-l1600.jpg

NOW THE BACK WINDOW IS BROKEN  SO AM SELLING IT

s-l1600.jpg

Now we know that rear windows for these are unaffordable.

PRIVATE NUMBER PLATE WILL GO WITH THE CAR ESTEMATED AT £500

So the most important component of the car comes with it.

THERES NO BUY IT NOW  RESERVE WILL BE  £ 1000  OR I WILL GET ROUND TO FIXING IT MYSELF ONE DAY .  NUMBER PLATE £500 CAR £500 .

That's the most deranged thing I have ever read.

And fucking look at this:

 s-l1600.jpg

But why then these obnoxious plates and that sticky shit?

 s-l1600.jpg

And why put two ugly kettle drip mats on the parcel shelf?

s-l1600.jpg

I'm going to go and buy this, right now. As long as the sump doesn't take more than , say, 5.5 litres of oil.

Anyone know how much it takes?
