willswitchengage
They remind me of the old fart coal gas powered cars that were used during wartime petrol shortages. JeeExEll and Momentary Lapse Of Reason

RayMK
What's the car on the right? FB_IMG_1549818973284.jpg My guess is that it's an Austin 10 Sherbourne or Lichfield from 1935ish. The photo does not give away much except for the depth from the roofline to the rear window, the proportions of the rear window itself and the rear wings partially enveloped by the bodywork. It may have a luggage trunk covering the spare wheel flap. I looked at Singers, Morrises, Hillmans, Lanchesters and Wolseleys but all seemed to differ significantly from the vehicle in question. mercrocker and egg

JeeExEll
Poor little thing, I feel sorry for it, just wandering about that yard all on it's own. You'd think someone would wash it's little face. Our local council had an orange Ant for working in the park. I used to be fascinated by it, it was like a workman's version of the Bond Bug (another favourite) which could carry stuff and 2 chain-smoking donkey-jacketed grass cutters. I still have a Matchbox one somewhere. RayMK and davocano

RayMK
I particularly like the Victor FB estate, having been carted to the South of France a couple of times in my Dad's in the 1960s when it was a three day journey.
