Poor little thing, I feel sorry for it, just wandering about that yard all on it's own. You'd think someone would wash it's little face.

Our local council had an orange Ant for working in the park. I used to be fascinated by it, it was like a workman's version of the Bond Bug (another favourite) which could carry stuff and 2 chain-smoking donkey-jacketed grass cutters. I still have a Matchbox one somewhere.

Burnt all the paint off :-)

The story with this one is that it's a gen 1970 RS1600, one of the very earliest, possibly converted from a Twin-Cam. Well known car in Northern Ireland apparently. Owner died many years ago and family won't sell it.

I have a link somewhere but it doesn't really add more info.

71-72 GT on rostyles in Tawny. With Webasto. Sports steels were introduced for 72 model year. What a very cool pic. :-)

DVLA no records of the reg number.

 

Lots of other interesting cars there too.

Commer side door is interesting.
