dollywobbler
This car IS SOLD! 86,000 miles, drives well bar brake judder so front discs probably a good idea. Very solid - had a small patch on the nearside sill just after I bought it. MOT January, tax (if you're quick) until end of October. Has four brand new Uniroyal Rain Sport 3 tyres. It has barely rained since purchase but they're bloomin' grippy. No history. I carried out an oil change about 1000 miles ago, if that. Timing belt comes with the car. One fitted looks ok. Swapsies possible, though I'm after a serious mile-muncher. I'm still awaiting the V5. Previous owner says they sent it off. May turn up soon I guess. dollywobbler
Yeah, it's been due for a while. Seems to be a backlog going on at the moment. Even by my standards, it's rare for me to market a car when I haven't yet received the V5! Really fancy an auto though.

Pillock
I bought the MGF from Bobthebeardless right at the end of August and the V5 arrived at least a week ago, maybe more. Bobthebeard

dollywobbler
What I'd really like for my next car is a Volvo 850 TDi auto estate. What I'll end up with really is anyone's guess. cms206
r.welfare
Intrigued by the mention of DVLA delay - the Mazda's came back in less than 2 weeks despite being completed in blue ink and not the regulation black. Anyway, GLWS of a car that has fleetingly graced my driveway.

Cheggers
I'll leave the house to buy a Volvo 850 TDi auto estate, but will return with a 1927 Phutney-Creech Landyacht with a cock drawn on the bonnet.FTFY
Doctormop
This would make an ideal weapon of choice for a banger rally.I'm sure team Saville will be in touch soon with a view to getting it stickered up for the 2015 Yewtree to Yeovil charity banger extravaganza. dollywobbler
Yeah, the location and manualness are off-putting. Though the SVM do know where I live and are always welcome to visit. Just sayin... (though I haven't forgiven Richard for swapping his lovely Blue Volvo for someone else. Tut tut).

The Rover 600 is still very much more beautiful. I'm thinking my next car either has to be one of those, or an XM. I think I should try to own something I actually want to own. Inspector Morose
I think I should try to own something I actually want to own.And where's the fun in that?! You really aught to buy an XM next though, with a diesel and auto box, in green preferably a phase 1. I fancy another trip to Wales to buy another car off you! chaseracer
dollywobbler
Green? Really? Mandarin Red is by far the best colour for an XM. Pretty rare though. Most XMs do seem to be very boring colours. You could get them in Olympic Blue though. WANT. Here's Manderin by comparison. Lukas
Inspector Morose
I've changed my mind thinking back to the XM meet. That XM in gold was stunning! Or Olympic Blue maybe? I think the lighter shades do highlight the design of the car so well.
dollywobbler
Yeah, that gold one was lovely. Posted a pic of it on my Blog today as it happens. Inspector Morose

Anyway, GLWS of a car that has fleetingly graced my driveway. The Process is a) Open Envelope Move them into 2 piles c) Send the one's with obvious mistakes to department A that employs only 3 people. d) Send the one's with no mistakes to department B that employs 3000 people. Thus the one's with mistakes will take longer, right ? Yeah. No. Department B is dealing with 10,000 V5's an hour and Department A is dealing with 10,000 V5's a decade. Inspector Morose
I almost want to buy the 416 so you get the XM. I said almost. Already scratched that itch with a 216sli and, like yourself, it never really gelled with me. And the low gearing drove me mad.
dollywobbler
Well, with the perfect XM on offer, I really would like the Rover to go. Last chance to get a car with tax AND test!I shall advertise elsewhere too.
