I don't have a FB account, because I'm not a scumbag... Or have any friends.

But I was shown the marketplace.

Fuck me, a £360 Panpan Alessi!?!?!?!?!?!?!!!!!!!! :o

https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/176927476467949

P.s. There's a lot of sub £400 Panpans around at the minute, all with rear subframe rot.

P.p.s Anyone live in Bradford with a trailer and free storage facilities for 6 months...

The 500 assembly fits it, mums rear shockers rotted through hers.  I'm not far from Bradford and could store it in return for the tailgate, mums has bad lacquer peel!

This 1100 GLS is €2000 in the North. What do they go for over here? I've not often seen one for sale. Would you get your money back?

Description in full:

This car was registered 07/12/1955 to a Mrs Hope, then passed to her daughter 20/06/1969. It then had one more owner before us. The mileage is 15700 and shows on the MOT`s
The MOT`s in the file show start dates of;06/12/2996,12/08/1999,11/08/2000,10/08/2001 and 21/11/2011.The car comes with the original buff log book, showing the original reg. no 19GML, now on a BENTLEY. There are some tax discs. There is a period Metal sun visor and a reversing light. Pedal extensions were put on the pedals for the mother and daughter to reach them.

I have highlighted in bold the useful information about the car.

I purchased the car 2 years ago in a reasonable condition

I purchased one in reasonable condition and a month later the big ends went.

however within a month or so, the bottom end started knocking

Ah

The engine has had a complete rebuild including sending the crank off for checking to make sure it is ok, new bottom end shells and washers, piston rings, new gaskets, new head gasket, new valve stem seals etc

That's a 3000 mile service.

It doesn’t overheat at idle

What a car!

The car was sold to me incorrectly, it is in fact a category C unfortunately, the previous owner failed to disclose this to me and I learnt a lesson about buying cars.

That a 50 year old car has a past?

The car would have no problems getting you home and being a reliable daily driver

okay
