Or has the gearbox actually grenaded? Surely not....

Well..Ive just purchased a Saab 9-5 Estate.  Not exciting I will admit but I have enjoyed some ebay trawling.  I tend to stay away in order to not buy stuff.  Its been fun though!  :)

I did wonder if it was selector based.  I cant understand why else it would completely lose selection and shift abilites.  As most know though - french cars are slightly odd.  It may select all 17 gears (excluding 3 reverse gears) tomorrow morning without a problem.
