jonny69
I have no idea where a lot of these vehicles are going to or from. But I'm enjoying the thread and the general level of crispiness of things. alf892, eddyramrod, DSdriver and 3 others

nisfan
Haha it was a thought but it has a low mileage turbo diesel from a 306 in it so wasn't keen on it. FOAD has kindly loaned his spare until I sell the the car. D Spares & Tyres

Rave
One owner for most of its life. Full service history but a bent mot. Ah well, still happy with it. No desire ever to go to London again any time soon though Oh noes, what did I miss?
D Spares & Tyres
It looks like the previous long term owner got rid of it due to the mot fail for rot on the sill and front inner wing He traded it in then a month or so later, with the trader it ended up with it passed the mot with an advisory for the same areas... If I could be bothered I would report it but but its easier to just weld it up. I expected some rot anyway so not fussed. She is very happy with it. D Spares & Tyres
After many years out in the open this little Riley is in the dry now in the garage. It belongs to the grandson of the original owner. I didn't feel right dragging it into a brand new housing estate and putting it into the garage of an immaculate £500k house but I was looking forward to seeing the expression on his wife's face when I turned up with it. Unfortunately she wasn't in. Actually, that would make for a great thread: 'Faces of wives whos blokes have bought shite home' paulplom, Tickman, Skut and 11 others
D Spares & Tyres
Yet another Terrano graces the trailer2.4 petrol but SOLID front wings! Mint interior with the same fabric i remember early bubble shape Micras coming in.Rear wing modified by Derek of The Hill. It's a common signature of his, often seen placed on borrowed vehicles Is it just me or are these early Terranos starting to look interesting, at least from the front anyway? I think they were called Mistral in Japan. I think Terrano sounds best in a broad Black County accent, vaguely translated as 'goodbye for now but see you later'. D Spares & Tyres
Having a tidy up today I came across this memory from a couple of years ago.I was on the way back from Cardiff and had a puncture. No big deal, just put the spare on. Just before I got to Hereford the spare wheel turned into a split rim. Had to finish my journey with three wheels on the trailer. Luckily I only had a Citroen ZX on so not too much weight. Scruffy Bodger, Rave, Lacquer Peel and 1 other

catsinthewelder
Thanks Tom, do you need the V5? It really isn't savable, the k-seal is doing a good job but won't last forever. The petrol tank leaks and on Sunday the nsr drum brake locked solid at 40mph. It has at least 2 rust holes and is generally knackered all over. It has lasted nearly 2 years though which is pretty good for a £225 car I think Al Bundy on here would like the coil. I can come down and strip it off, didn't want to before as it still ran. D Spares & Tyres
Thanks Tom, do you need the V5? No I don't need it, there is no requirement to have any paperwork when you weigh it in but I probably best have it as that's the only way to get the car out of the system. They will register it scrapped, which owners cannot do anymore. I'll swap it for your G clamp ☺ Scruffy Bodger and catsinthewelder
catsinthewelder
Cool, I meant to tell you about that. It's there because I hit the brake drum so hard trying to unsieze it that the internals shifted round about thirty degrees and broke the hydraulic seals. Being as it was sitting bang in the middle of a SSSI I thought I probably shouldn't spill brake fluid everywhere.
