Its only when Tina went, "that's our toilet" I realised  😄

Didn't even know you had started this thread, until the notification.
Glad cars been good for you. Went out in the Saab after and its got a coolant leak and reeks of petrol....
Hoping its not HGF, but will do some checks tomorrow.

Great to meet you both.

So what's the verdict?

Cosmetically a bit tired but what do we expect from an 18 year old pug?

Engine is surprisingly lively, probably something to do with a top end rebuild done a couple of years ago at great expense.

Typical french driving experience, comfy ride, squidgy seats, reasonably sharp handling and short ratio gears. Good fun in the twisties.

It's got an issue that needs checking out, it's a bit difficult to find the biting point.. it's kind of everywhere all at once. Working theory is engine mount based on MOT advisory and the clonk noise when you wobble the engine a bit.

The recent service history is crackers. They could have bought a brand new sandero but for some reason kept this going instead!

Overall then, the mystery car presents a mystery to solve but promises to be a goodun.

Sorry to hear the Saab woes, hope it magically fixes itself. Mine seems to do that from time to time
