  1. I had my 1st vaccine yesterday, AZ. Today I feel like I'm battling a hangover but nothing worse than that. Conclusion: get hammered after your injection and you won't notice the side effects the next day [emoji23]
  2. Sad news about the driver, I've had a few trips to Barrow over the years and spotting this plying its trade was always a highlight ARF at the advisory on its latest MOT Righto mate, seems legit*
  3. Objectively: 89 Citroen AX 14TZS that I had for a couple of months which found new and exciting ways to constantly leak coolant every day, had numerous electrical issues, pogweasel paint and ultimately threw a rod in the middle of the mersey tunnel. Subjectively: 94 Golf 1.4 base which was a lovely original example of a car, ruined by it being a 94 Golf 1.4 base.
  4. I'm on a 10 day self isolation because they changed the rules halfway through a holiday. It was worth it though. As per usual Corralejo delivers the goods:
  5. Received! And also sent mine out today - hopefully the lucky* recipient will have it by chrimbo
  6. Mint Maestro delivering rubble to the tip today.
  7. Aha! That particular brand of spring assister kit is something I have direct experience of, as when I bought my Talbot motorhome it had one already fitted by the PO. Very heavy duty frame and each spring was rated at 700kg IIRC. I never needed to use the stabilising arms when camping as this thing meant there was virtually no movement. Downside of that was it made sleeping policemen an obstacle best avoided/dealt with at 10mph max [emoji23]
  8. That's sound that! As already said, there's a lot worse ancient motorhomes out there, for a lot more ££. You threw the dice & won. Well done!
  9. Similar... except we don't have them standing at the front of the house at least. That's outrageous. I used to enjoy an occasional smoke back in the day, but I never smelt anything so pungent as what seems to be normal now. God knows what it's doing to their brains... as you say it tastes bad on the air. In a great victory for town planning we have 10 gardens directly behind us and so on a sunny day with an easterly wind our house gets overwhelmed by their bbq and stoner smoke. We are in a single room deep double fronter so there's literally no escape from it in those conditions. I suspect we are far from the only people suffering this problem right now [emoji853]
  10. I'm with you on this 100000000%. Furlough has seemingly turned all my neighbours into bbq obsessed stoners.. except for one who seems to suddenly fancy a future career as a balearic DJ. For 13 years it's been a relatively quiet corner of the world but since easter it's been exhausting just trying to live a quiet life and WFH.
  11. I miss owning a hopeless camper. I also reckon it would be quite jolly to live like the pope on tour for a day. Verdict: You are a winner and I have envy.
  12. Alba Sport [emoji848] Presumably the cheapest tyre available in the argos catalogue [emoji1787]
  13. Tremendous scenes! Looks ace and the maroon headrest panels work so well. I'd feel like king of the world if I were you today [emoji106]
  14. Vulg, once again your attention to detail has paid back 10x over. The refreshed interior looks brilliant. It was bugging me what the pic of the back your front seat reminded me of. Then I realised.... Engage!
  15. I've had a couple of prime candidates for this: Nissan Almera "Ambition" - presumably relating to an ambition to drive something else Vauxhall Astra "Excite" - "dull yet worthy" would be a much better name for it
  16. Constantly wrong. Unlike that clock. Which is all levels of right. Sent from my SM-A520F using Tapatalk
  17. Well, the Renault stylists had to get *something* right on it eventually [emoji38] Sent from my SM-A520F using Tapatalk
  18. Some sort of Lada with Father Ted bodywork
  19. I can't get enough of this. It's so wrong, it's right!
