A while ago I gave all the ex @AnthonyGand other assorted magazines and stuff I've picked up from FoD visits, sf and etc and read to a lady on Facebook.

Today she messaged me re a Dyson Repair, and it seems they inspired her dad!

Just back from a superb meal in La Chatre sur le Loir which included wrapping myself around a very nice bottle of red.

Certainly making me grin this evening. 8)

Grinned through most of East Ayrshire today heading for/returning from a family appointment @ Masonhill near Ayr (plus a few side trips around Ayr itself). An awful lot has changed in the past 40 years but not the people.
(Mind you I'd just love to live in Sorn so I could sorn a car in Sorn)

To be fair it was utterly raining cats and dogs on the way in (so no '99 ice cream at Seafield in Ayr) and it was pitch black on the way back out. Maybe  the rose tinted 'specs  were turbocharged,

(Mind you the Main Event at The Crem had a play out to ELO's Mr Blue Sky and - it was when we came outside - that was the real Grin Moment)

Well that's obviously not real is it? Why would you just happen to be filming that, and he's far too well spoken for a courier.

Yeah, I know, it's just a light hearted clip, I shouldn't be taking it seriously, but it's just a bit too close to home for my liking.

There's mice presently causing havoc (chewing the foliage off model trees, moving wagons, stealing smaller tools) with my Grampa's garage. He superglued a peanut to the mouse trap as they kept pinching them.

A mouse has managed to take said superglued peanut without setting the trap off.

I've lived in this house since 1996, broadband has been awful in that time , until yesterday, Virgin are now able to offer full fiber to the house , boom 40 MBPS to 240MBPS

Finally, internet that works makes me grin
