Ta again for all the organisation @catsinthewelder

Did anyone else see the old plane on the way home? I thought it was one of the Lancasters at first but neither have been flying so I'm not sure. There was a Bristol Blenheim at Southport airshow today but I can't find it flying back over Shrewsbury on Flight radar.

A gazillion thanks to all those who organised and attended. Had a blast.....

Once again apologies to @jollyfkr2 for the time misunderstanding - but we got there in the end. Would've capped it all if 'they' had got 'Elle' as she should now be named, going.

It was a toss up between something breaking on the bike or a heart attack from the 'volunteers'.

Byron had a blast, sends his thanks too for a warm welcome.  He's already asking when the next 'meet' is.

Great to talk twaddle and just chill the f*ck out for a change.

Smithy was incredibly knowledgeable and I think we all learned a lot.

A massive cheers fellas....

Oh - that pan is mine...... The latte maker. Bugger

EDIT - Those bowls too - the orange and the greens. DAMN IT!!!!

What you geet for asking a teenager if they got 'all the dishes'.

@catsinthewelder you’re a shitefest organising legend of the highest order. A super ‘fest.

Wonderful to catch up with old faces, getting to know some others better and meet some new one!

The key element to a successful Shitefest fire and chat.

The bijou sleeping arrangements

And the top bits:

Saturday’s night sky - just wow

Listening to “I am rolling” the Volvo album… in a Volvo on the way home from Cosford

The bit where Benny, Bjorn Anna-frid and Agneta came and skinned everyone alive.

An honestly excellent time was had. Very big thanks!

Many thanks to all of you for coming, it's been busy but I've had a bloody fantastic weekend.  Thanks to everyone for being so helpful and considerate.  It was lovely and easy to tidy the last few bits away.  The site owners were well pleased and really enjoyed meeting you.

I particularly enjoyed;

"A bit more choke and that'll start"

Geometric breakfast

"Arrrr, I'm on fire"

An impromptu trip to the ammunition dump with @Scruffy Bodger

A ride out in @EightMegs ace Carina.

Etc, etc etc....

Anyone recognise this lot?

The two blue lidded containers and red bowl is mine. Use or dispose of as you see fit.

Young @grogee told me the air pump belongs to @twosmoke300 or one of his party. It had some walk on part during the start* the moped malarkey.

The green bowls, not a clue.

Edit: an attendee up thread has claimed ownership of all 3 bowls.

Master Grogee got that mixed up! I have two air bed pumps for some reason so I told him to go and offer one as a Shitefest sacrifice

To the winner - the spoils.

Massive thanks to Rich @catsinthewelderfor an amazingly well organised weekend, honestly sir, you made a massive effort on our behalf and catered for every detail.  Thanks also to whoever organised the blacksmith's trip, very interesting (I reckon he'd do well with induction heating for the small stuff but that's another subject).

Good to meet too many to mention, @Dave_Q, @willswitchengageand others.

Very impressed with the location.  Our host could not have been more helpful.  At first, I suspect he was a shade bewildered by all these people with their old cars, but by the end, I reckon he was actually starting to understand us.

Last of all, I seem to have acquired some tent poles - I have no idea how.  No problem to post them to whoever is short of them?

Big thanks to @Scruffy Bodger for arranging the trip to the smithy. Blood great place and an amazingly skillful, hard working fella. I also enjoyed talking to the 2 young lads/apprentices - keep at it lads. I reckon you'll go far.

What a wonderful weekend, really enjoyed myself.  Sitting in a field talking shite with none of life's usual obligations was just the ticket.  Thanks @catsinthewelder for organising it, top work m9.

Despite the fact I nearly castrated myself on @wuvvum's leccy bike it was actually great fun.

Have some 406 V6 stats.

Mpg figure is not bad at all considering I did some extreme hooning through large parts of Shropshire and Herefordshire.  7 hours driving today because I took a long route home, and London was the usual bastard to get through.

Thanks also to @Dave_Q for our divorce self help group chat and to the nice guy (shamefully, I've forgotten your name) I chatted to at length about mining, parenting, Corsa sunroofs, sausages etc.

Twas I @grogee. I had a great chat with you too. I wandered off to bed at midnight-ish. My mouth had stopped working after the numerous lagers and Ludlow Gold. Once my mouth goes the legs start to go in short order so I called time and pottled off to the little tent (your tent is a stunner mind 😄).

Master grogee is a credit to you. I reckon he deserves a MG Maestro poster for his bedroom wall! I can only echo everyone's sentiments - another brilliant Shitefest all round. Thank you everyone for going and making it what it was, and of course a special thanks to Rich @catsinthewelder for pulling it all together.

Lin really enjoyed it again, though she missed @binhoker668 and @beko1987, hope to see you next time.

We didn't take many pictures, but are enjoying everybody else's.  @EightMegs shots are lovely.

I wore my shit shirt. Which was actually shit, unlike the shirts everyone else wore that I'd wear normally!

Many thanks to @catsinthewelder for organising the weekend, and to his friend for hosting a mad bunch of old car lunatics. I hope there is a good bit of money left over from the donations to the running costs for the charity you chose.

Thanks also to @HMC for letting me have a go in the Rover, and to @grogee for bringing that superb Maestro, which had many Austin Rover perverts ogling it.

Finally, I swear I will never complain about Herefordshire’s roads again, after experiencing the delights of South Shropshire’s. We might have lots of potholes, but you guys have actually replicated the surface of the moon on some of your minor lanes….
