Rightio, the nagging has paid off and I've got it booked.  Location is my mates field/woods/campsite near Bridgnorth in Shropshire.  Should be quite reasonably priced so long as we tidy up afterwards.

Edit #1

Lets make the location easy to find.

What3 words to the entrance.  ///bungalows.next.windmills

Which looks like this

The open one on the left.

From above.

Screenshot_20240315_223800_Maps.thumb.jpg.23cbc4ebb2fb10750c8b691bc0e4a807.jpg

Access is from Ashfield Road, the track marked on Google heading South East doesn't exist as far as I know.

Further out.

That's been a certainty at the SFs  I've been at.

Tentative yes. If I'm allowed back/can clear it with work...

Or if @PicantoJon is brave enough to get in a car with me again.

I don't have to organise anything this time so I'm not planning on having a dry one 🍻🍺

@catsinthewelder I was working  above there the other day, it's a great spot, very rural!

If anyone wants to feel like they've been transported back in time my mates Smithy is a couple of miles down the road.

It's got a rich history round there, aviation wise due to Brown Clee's height and accidents and railway wise due to the Ditton Priors light railway and stone production, munitions etc.

Cheers @catsinthewelder that looks epic! I think im ok with dates, just got to choose what to take (most likely impossible that far ahead given my proclivities) but i feel a rolls road trip would appeal to me.

Unfortunately I am going to be going down to North Tawton on the Friday & coming back up to Wales on the Sunday. It does mean that we will be able to wave at @HMC as we pass on the M5 :-)

He's a good bloke is Darren,  he's the fella who welded the Jinling gearbox back together.

One thing to bear in mind when choosing what to bring is the track to the field.  It's a lot better than it used to be but is a bit bumpy and the hedges can get a bit close (I'll try to swing by with the shears beforehand).

I've edited the first post with detailed location information so its easy to find.

If I can wangle this it's likely to be the first Shitefest in England I've had to travel north to get to... 😂

Book that time off now!!!
