stripped fred
Sounds like a good one with the time and money you've spent on it. They were a great car. If I was after a cheap daily I'd be all over this. GLWTS.

KruJoe
Very nice. Sadly a couple years too young for me. I do hope there are still some nice enough 20+ year old ones for me to try properly as a daily. These have got to be the prettiest run-of-the-mill hatchbacks of ever and ever. matty879, Timewaster, dougiefourspeed and 3 others
dougiefourspeed
I remember the first time I drove one of these it was an early petrol model for about three miles in town and I was a bit disappointed after hearing good things. The second time was a year later when I drove a late HDi DTurbo with the GTi bodykit on the Fosse Way. It had been remapped and played about with and it ignited my love for 80's and 90's PSA shite that has endured to this day. Lovely stuff. Sorry if I've missed where you mention that if you did already.i didnt change the axle, just checked the arms for play, there was none.i did the bearings on another that i used to have, not difficult to do but time consuming.they look a bit flimsy for the job that they do,just needle roller bearings each side. Agreed, they got the styling of these absolutely spot on, and somehow where most cars get uglier following a facelift these were made even prettier.
