Angry Sheep
That's a shame, I was looking forward to seeing a Maestro or Somerset. For those newbies amongst us, how's about we say what we will be in to aid identification? I don't want to wander over to some random bloke in his brown Allegro and scare him by engaging him in conversation! To start I am (as they say in France) sans merde at present to will be a short haired stubbly bloke in a silver 57 plate Leon. Almost certainly wearing a t shirt for a defunct formula 1 team or oil company I'll stand out by being someone who isn't an old lady driving a Metro. Looking forward to my first shite meet Parky and EssDeeWon
Alan_Green
Going off topic here Alan, but was that you coming off the roundabout near Morrisons around 3.00?Oh, that's right. We're GU51 neighbours. Yup, that was me.
purplebargeken
I'll be the large bloke with a greying goatee, fuck all head hair and walking with a limp, wearing a striped polo shirt and not striped jeans. I may be scowling. This is normal. I'll be stood next to an L reg Rover 214. Parky and EssDeeWon
RobT
You won't have the pleasure* of my company long I'm afraid, as I've got to collect the missus from Gatwick late afternoon. Hopefully the M25 doesn't suffer some massive gridlock as I'll be travelling half of it after the meet. Am looking forward to seeing some shite and having a natter. panhard65
I have decided not to risk it as when checking the 204 this morning I found it has been using coolant. Either the rad cap or possible water pump. 200 miles is a bit risky just yet

seth
I expect to be there in the Hillman.I'll bring an angle grinder with so I can lower any car that seems to have too much ground clearance. I'm sure that'll be appreciated. The Moog, skattrd, EssDeeWon and 3 others

Jerzy Woking
Sorry I could not make it - Merc had a blat battery and needed a charge. Disappointed not to be there, but on the plus side (for me) I managed to unwrap the Monet Goyon I had purchased and do some work on it. And get some sleep after watching all the MotoGP racing all night.
oldford
Nice to see you folks today, had a lovely drive back until one lane of the M25 eastbound was closed, I expected to see a white Daimler in a cloud of steam as the cause only to be happily greeted by the sight of a Police stop on a M3 BMW. Loved all the cars, especially the variety of them. EssDeeWon, RobT, inconsistant and 1 other

RobT
Was good to meet you all. Yet more proof that shiteists are thoroughly decent folk! purplebargeken
An excellent way to spend a good few hours! Some very, very ace cars and of course, ace car owners! A fuggin' great huge hornet landed on the radiator grille of the Rover 12. It was enormous and looked like it could wrestle the keys from any of us. Each car was brilliant in its own way. Loved the Hillman, especially the gear lever! The Cortina was as mint as a whole box of Trebor products. The interior of the Metro was stunning. The Rover 12 was just a little beauty The Porsche was very cool although the interior was something that HypnoToad could relate to. Such a solid put together car and a very brave owner . The lovely Primrose was a very worthy car indeed and it was great to finally see it in the metal, such a cool colour, oh yes. The careworn 626 was such a lovely waft barge, I loved the pillarless door action. A really unusual car and Alan is totally smitten with it. Quite right too! I have to say though that my absolute favourite car on the day was RobT's Daimler. A lovely, solid, honest lump of a car. Great colour and a car that has huge potential to be a stunner. Anyone up for another meet? How does an Autoshite Christmas Curry sound? There is a bloody good curry house in Turnford that we went to for 'christmas' a couple of years back with the MGF folks. Thanks to all who turned up and thanks for bringing a whole bunch of great cars. Cheers Ken EssDeeWon, RobT, oldford and 4 others
