grizz
We all (OK, some of us) dream of building or driving random shite. I like the idea of a lowered Jeep. Or 4x4 type thung. So I found a body in Ayr, Scotland. Then a mate from Cambridge picked up a trailer from me in Rochester Kent and fetched it. After which another mate sold me an MX5 and delivered it from the top of Wales. And starting with this pile a year ago……. Correct, a typical 80’s kit car. mix of Cortina and Escort parts. also, I learned that things like brake drums came in two sizes, not visible, but buying one set, that did not fit, meant buying another set and getting stuck with many new, unused parts.
