Yes, I can get some stuff from my cheapo reader.  I don't have a CLIP yet..

I'm quite adept at putting the EML out #cliolyfe

Bring the Clio to Northern Twixfest and we can see? Think @320touring will be bringing his too.

May well do that TBH!

No EML are present at the moment, but honestly, how long can that last?

I'm fairly certain it's the port itself that's goosed on ours, none of the pins seem loose, but the port doesn't feel that secure. It's definitely got power going to it but that's about it.

If you remind me @Shirley Knott I can bring a couple of readers

Just had a casual glance and by my observations the nearest point to me within the 'Twixfest' is around a two hour round drive away.

Much as I'm keen to touch grass with my AS brethren and keep up camaraderie,  I've reached a stage in life whereby I'm lazy as fuck and I'm in a position whereby I  recognise/accept that.

Kind offers, so cheers lads. Attendance is unlikely if Im honest though.

Could you be arsed to organise a pint with @catsinthewelder next week? Happy to float on down the river for a couple of hours

Sounds decent.

Honestly,  the less I have do the more likely I am to do it if that makes sense?

Also, since I've 'made it' and moved to the *outskirts of Durham I've pretty much concluded it's God's country. I will only leave under extreme duress.

Couple of updates then.

The express passed it's test as noted above and continues to provide stellar service.

The Duster took us on holiday again

And it also took on a key role in a night time ARSE.

The 182 has sat for seven weeks or so during the summer holidays

So it was flat.

Also, the exhaust was blowing like a fucker as the brillo pad gasket in one of the joins had disintegrated.

Up it goes.

Nope, try again.

There we go.   Exhaust unbolted and prised apart, new £6 gasket fitted.

Old gasket mostly here:

Though there was also much in my hair.

Then took the kids for ice cream and spotted @PSAPerv parked at his work.

Now back to school run duty.

Fuel economy on this tank includes the Weardale 40, ragging around the dale and a two hour jaunt cross country to the M6 and back, plus two hours actually on the M6 at 77gps.

42.1 MPG

Yeah.

I am quite impressed at how good it is at pretty much maintaining 60-80 along roads which are *properly* bumpy and twisty and up and down.  You rarely need to brake, just throw it in and let a light throttle pull it round.  Sometimes dropping to 4th.

It's a shame it's so stupidly loud as otherwise it's pretty subtle as a means of covering distance quickly.

When I was doing a late night run to Braemar, I think I got down to 3rd twice in about 60 miles of twisty A and B roads, the torque and engine braking are bloody good.

At the twixfest everyone who drove both 182s thought yours was awful quiet🤣
