Short and simple. Mini owners will love them. This time next year Rodney. This time next year.

Yeah they should have fired him in the early sixties instead they kept him on into the seventies wasting money on stupid projects.

Honda Civic, apparently retrieved from somewhere near the Mariana Trench. While I'm sure there are indeed some hard to find parts on there, I'm not sure there's £600 worth left...

May be an image of car and outdoors

Agree. Fair play to them for giving folk the chance to harvest reusable components from it, but you'd have to be on meth to think that was worth the asking price.  Now if it had been an S reg Escort...

hmmm interesting, it has enough structural strength left to survive being physically moved, which is a surprise given the pics! Its also considerate that they've moved it under a lean-to or car port or something to stop it getting wet. About 35 years too late, but still.

A "BARN" FIND.

I fucking hate it when my barn is actually a waterlogged patch of overgrown, wooded marshland.

There’s a conversion kit for turning a standard mini in to a period pickup. As mentioned the tags and V5 is where the value is

Could be ex-BT with that colour; dizzle is just the kind of misery a BT fleet manager would inflict on linesmen/installers/etc.

I would rather ( and have owned) a 1.6D than the rough old CVH alternative.

A friend owned a 1987 Orion 1.6 D for several years.  It had been written off twice beforehand, was dented to death and most of it's horses had escaped. he'd welded on an additional shelf above the boot (in line with the roofline) to carry additional crap on the roof, and had modified the front suspension towers to give it a bit more ground clearance.  It didn't start properly, the speedo drive in the gearbox had broken, the floor had been welded up more times than I can count, and one of the rear windows was perspex.

It was the most knackered thing you have ever seen.  It was also the slowest car in the entire world.  0-60 was about 20 seconds.

A non-turbo XUD car would absolutely run rings around it, while getting better fuel economy.  It would absolutely fall into the category of "just bloody scrap it".  I need to find a photo now...

Rough but fairly complete main bodyshell from 1932 Alvis 12/50. No wings or bonnet, no trim or interior, just the main body tub and doors. Brave restoration, rat rod or just cool yard art. Personally I think it would make a fantastic and very attractive chicken coop. Pics of complete car are the actual body in the 1960s. No ID, no V5, no chassis or mechanics. Collection near Selby. No delivery, buyer to collect

£150 is a soupcon steep for a bit of firewood.

I wonder what it clouted at high speed, sideways? I bet the drivers seat base could do with replacing!
