My friend has owned this for a few years and about 18 months ago when the MOT ran out he took it to our local older car friendly MOT garage for a pre-mot. It would have failed on a couple of split gaiters and front wishbone bushes (TADTS). He planned on doing the work, but other toys got in the way and it has basically just sat. It now needs a jump to start (though the battery may well take a charge) and the rear brakes are binding due to lack of use (another TADTS). I planned on buying it when he decided to get rid, and typically he offered it to me today, the day after my latest Gumtree purchase, so I said I would offer it on here for him. Bodywork and interior are good, it has a decent set of winter tyres fitted, runs well and has lots of miles (about 170k from memory). Located near Montrose in the NE Scotland, I am sure a clean up of the rear brakes would get it ready to drive to a pre booked MOT anywhere. As an alternative, I can deliver, with some notice, for £1 a mile. MOT history can be checked online, but this is the one to have with turbo and 4x4 in a smallish estate. Really don't need it, apart from 2 weeks when my Leggy is in for an MOT to save driving an Almera on the weekends, but it's totally my type of car.
