As long as you have some time for it to prove itself before relying on it for anything important it should all be fine.

We is livin' the dream init. !!!

As my wife says "You know some odd people"

And yet I dream of the day someone phones me from a scrap yard about a car they know I would like to save.

I wonder if it'll end up costing the thick end of a grand, just like my recent £300 car.

Chodspeed! (My phone now has chodspeed as a word suggestion...)

Much excite. Waiting for progress with baited breath.

Hoping for a monumentally daft decision, something like a late model Ambassador would fit the bill nicely.  Maximum misery, minimum expense.

A message was sent to me from an associate, a car has arrived in a Port Glasgow scrapyard and they think it's too nice to break.

It's white, it's MOT'd for a couple of months and it is £300. I can get it on classic insurance. I've already agreed to buy it without seeing it.

EXCITE.

That's the spirit!

Capt. 70s will now drive directly from the scrappy to visit Maw and Paw 70s, at their home near the north pole.

@davidfowler2000 has kindly provided post-work transport to said vehicle. Heading out to see it now...

Elderly owner for 27 years, wads of service history apparently.

That's a MEGABARG at £300. Even if it needs work you'll not lose out of it. Well done. ?
