There used to be something called acting. You pretended to be someone you weren’t. Maybe you were white and portrayed someone who wasn’t , just the same as you pretended to be a doctor or policeman etc when you weren’t.

Now only black peoples can play black characters and increasingly anyone with a disability can’t be played by someone who doesn’t have that particular illness. OK fair enough but it had to work both ways and there’s too much shoehorning people into historical dramas  where they would never  have been.

Cue…call me a racist .

I do not think you understood my post. I said that the colour issue that some countries have  is not an issue.  The colour issue is not limited to the UK  either, there are other European counties with the same thinking.

It ticked some boxes, the house is so lonely and quiet without Phoenix and the outside cage will soon start to fall apart if I just ignore it another 6 months. Did (and do still) fancy a pair of white doves, but the advert above got Wafted my way and budgies were on the list! 

A pair was key as I did feel phoenix wasn't terribly happy on his own, and 2 females which is good as 2 males can fight as they age, and 1 of each will be eggs and babies and I don't want that. 

The lady at the service said if I like them tomorrow bring something to get them home in so I've taken that as a sign to reassemble the cage after sloshing a small bit of rust converter here and there right at the bottom

And realised I can fit 4 wheels from a scrap hoover base mega easily so it won't be such a massive wanker to drag out for cleaning (which I didn't do as often as I should...)

Yes. The driver would not be 'reported'. First off the whole shebang would be impounded and my hunch being so serious the driver arrested for a short time and changed with dangerous driving.

Looks a bit photoshopped/posed as the tow bar fixing to the truck looks odd, the back bumper appears coming off the Toyota etc.

Did the Old Trafford tour once, abd they told us they to have  Jaffa cakes at half time at Utd.( in the Ferguson days, maybe still do and other clubs do it too).

Finally got the summer wheels and tires on the modern after almost 6 months on noisy studded winter tyres.

It is so quiet and nice to drive now and can finally hear the noise of the 3 cyl engine again.
