I wouldn't mind the opportunity  :-(

Ask him nicely, you never know, he may play both sides of the field.

I don't, shame really, it'd double my chances.

Domestic Management and the International Percussionist have been in the next room playing duets on the piano for the last hour.

Came back home and miles stops with 18's. Not sure why I find this exciting, but I do, ok?

Timeless comedy.

That's the description I'd apply to the Father Ted Xmas Special, which I saw for the 10000000th time the other night. Somehow it never seems to get old.

On way back from yard and what's this,

It was fairly shifting and took a while to catch up,

A quick check and this is what it is.

Nice to see an old car still being used in the salty season.

I popped to get tea earlier from the chicken place with the red sign, when I sat at home I looked at the lid of my beans and they said marina on the lid, I got an idea in my head of a couple naming their baby after their beloved car

Had a browse of Tax Discs on ebay as I usually do. I tend to look at ones that are 70's/80's and have a good selling picture.

I spotted a 1979 tax disc for a MG Sherpa...

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/172465194272?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

...and thought I'd run a check to see if it's still alive and kicking. It is indeed taxed but not M.o.T'd, so a quick Flickr search reveals the very car.

I left a comment on there to whoever owns it now, so they can reunite the disc with the car if they wish.

I like the little things like that.

Blimey the use by isn't long on those beans!!

As for Marina, there is a bird at work (quite fit) but I think the old 'hows Morris' joke would be wasted.

Sorted tickets for Premier League Darts in Liverpool. Well happy with that, always been too late in previous years.

Shite TV season - Jonathan Creek is of no interest nowadays (no Caroline Quentin) but at least the program still features a decent Volvo. Lovely colour, power assisted bumpers, round headlights post-17481-0-88292400-1483136428_thumb.jpeg

Got a compliment from the owner of a Crown Victoria police car regarding the BX today, which is always pleasing. Also put a smile on my face when it took his car ages to crank and the BX (for once) started up right away.....

Spotted this on Facebook.  New years day 1983 on the road from Selkirk to Peebles. Any idea what the car in the distance is?

Morris minor?

I think it could actually be a Wolsley 6/80.  That'd be like seeing a Montego in a picture taken today.

I just slipped slightly. I still think it have been better if I didn't try going round the bend but just flooring it and heading for the field

I've not been on AS much lately, but for grin reasons.

The building warrant for my garage came through in November.

I had a muddy bit of ground then had some foundations dug..

post-5582-0-82531000-1483224315_thumb.jpg

Then some walls built...

post-5582-0-29562600-1483224617_thumb.jpg

A floor was laid including insulation..

We had an all-nighter pouring, floating and polishing concrete.

That was a couple of weeks ago.

On Tuesday it looked like this.

On Wednesday we had walls...

And yesterday a roof..
