loserone
Fergie update day. I stripped the fuel tap, replaced all the gaskets and put it back together. It was very sticky. Pictured here after we removed the fuel tank for cleaning. @Jimbob McGregor replaced most of the coolant hoses, and his lad replaced the old sparkalaters. The correct V5C is on the way thanks to some assistance from @LightBulbFun Hence, the small case of mistaken identity has been removed and revealed some filler but nothing catastrophic. And we pulled the tank to sloosh it out down at the garage We need some blue coolant, a battery, and some fuel. Yeah until you got it, it had no keeper changes since it was computerised, the old V5's used to tell when that was done, it would say No of Keepers Since such and Such date (as the keeper counts did not carry over from the old buff logbook system so it was the DVLC's way of saying "before this date it may of had 100 keepers just a heads up") but sadly modern V5's have not had that date for a few years now although going by how this has had no keeper changes before you but had a V5 issued in 1982, I would say that unless the Farmers sheep ate the original V5 and he had to get a duplicate issued or he changed some personal details, I want to say that it was computerised in 1982 which makes me wonder if it was either laid up for a while before then or just not taxed and used off road completely for a while, as most vehicle in active on road service (ie being taxed) where computerised by the Late 1970's from what I have researched 39 minutes ago, loserone said: If only the frigging thing ran. Shit! that would be the perfect London commuter vehicle then you never get above 12Mph anyhow LOL and im guessing this is a bit like the JCB where you dont change gears on the fly but more select the gear you want beforehand so just fit it with a centrifugal clutch and it would be perfect LOL Crackers and loserone
