Autoshite Southern Meet Up?  It's been years!

I hate organising social stuff, but it’s been sooo long since we got together in real life for a chat and some chod admiring that I’m going to put myself out there and give it a go.  When I bought the A2 off Sir Chocolate Teapot before Christmas we were discussing how an actual real AS get together in real life would probably do us all a lot of good.

Hi All,

Last weekend I met a few chums at the Junction 8 Cafe, Reigate Hill rest area at 10am on Sunday and it was absolutely rammed.

We struggled to find parking for 4 cars. It looks like there are at least 12 of us coming so...

Flower Farm, Godstone

It's a farm shop with a cafe. They've got a good sized car park, indoor and outdoor seating, they do breakfast type food until 11am, take away coffee, tea, cake etc. There's a farm shop to fulfil all your scotch egg, haggis and daffodil desires too. 

Proposed new venue:

Flower Farm, Oxted Road

Godstone, RH9 8BP

Easy to find, only 8 miles/2 junctions on M25 from the previous venue. 

2 mins from M25 J6 (Godstone/Caterham exit)

 

Proposed date:

Sunday 26 March

Proposed time:

From 10am

 It would be great to see as many of us out as possible… new and old shitters, left, returned, lapsed, background lurkers, whatever. All welcome! 

Let’s see if we can get a bunch of Shitters together. If not I’ll just have to eat a bacon sandwich on my own admiring the view, then jump in the old car and go home. Win either way!

New Venue is FLOWER FARM GODSTONE. See first post for updated venue details.

It's about 8 miles east of the previous venue close to Godstone and M25 J6.
