1799307.jpg
57K miles

I have every MOT certificate

It has been garaged since Jan 2010 MOT

non-starter for the past few months

£350 Or near offer

Good shiteist plate methinks

If it's the one I'm thinking of, it is owned by some young bird who turned up on Retro Rides forum. Half-tempted to go look mainly out of curiousity as to what sort of young bird drives an old Corolla around.

Check out this "SHOW CAR" Cavalier, repleat with missing trims & rusty arches. Original!

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/1990-G-REG-VAUXHA ... 0613387549

Whilst not a total rip, this seller must be on some pretty mind-bending drugs to imagine that you could bowl up to a beard & ale classic car event and get this past the cadet-force-in-hi-viz gestapo and into the concours arena

Now here's a Cavalier that is PROPER.

Ideal for a half-arsed and likely unfinished "XE" conversion, with bonus points for cheap alloys, junking of that fab interior and any reference to drftn.

I LOVE that. I want it and then I can pretend to be going on my hols when I was 8 years old again.

This one was listed 3 times in December and failed to sell at the $8500 so now it's the New Year he's trying to sell it for $10,500

The car is in immaculate condition inside and out

There's four small cracks in the fiberglass

So which is it?

It's tough to believe that the attention span is so short on ebay sellers that they get halfway through a listing and forget the lies they've already told. That Cavalier is a good example. "1 owner from new" but then on the first paragraph says it was owned by someone else. Show Car.... oops no it's rusty. If you don't like it when you get here then walk away with nothing to pay... but cash on collection, don't try to bid him down, don't like it don't bid etc etc. Oh and my favourite.... "Maintained to a very high standard" but the only service he's not done was due to old age..... 12/09. So it's not had an oilchange for over a year, that's not a high standard!

It's difficult to justify the mong process to buy a car. It'd have to be really, really cheap.

He seems to be getting a bit twitchy/arsey about it now too, moaning about the number of watchers etc and no bids. Perhaps if he wasn't bullshitting so much and had started it cheaper he may have seen some bids? To be fair it's worth the start price alright and maybe a little more on top but it'll be eons before it starts to rise in value.

Now, Austin 1800 Mk1 anyone?

I think that'd be a cracker and has new wings too.

Cheap BX GTi. Mate of mine had one of these a few years back and I recall it being quite a giggle to drive.

!CDHDnjwCGk~$(KGrHqF,!k8Ez+t1BmuzBNNdz9UkDw~~_12.JPG

...and it comes with a very sought-after number plate, which you could sell for about eight million pounds to anyone who runs a business called KS Motors...
