RoverFolkUs
Joking aside, it looks like they may have the answer for you: https://www.mg-rover.org/threads/odometer-dash-light-stays-on-my-rover-75.266215/ Just disconnect the battery and reconnect a few minutes later to reset everything. barefoot

wuvvum
Note to Tourer owners - don't break your tail lights. They are apparently completely unobtainium. Even Rimming Brothers have sold out of their hideously overpriced units.

They're always one of the first things to go when a Tourer goes for scrap. I've messaged several breakers on eBay and they've all said "already sold m8". In fact one has even put "No rear lights left" in the listing title. grogee

Split_Pin
I'll check upullit next time I'm up. They have 75/ZTs in quite regularly. andyberg and wuvvum 1
barefoot
On a cheerier note, guess who just scored a set of four 195/65 X fifteen Michelin Cross Climates for just £298.32. Obviously it’s via a mate of a mate of a mates trade account, but who knew there was such a mark up? Cookiesouwest

Split_Pin
Other parts to save are rear window sill rubbers, the inner alloy stiffener corrodes and disintegrates and you just can't buy them anywhere. I also hoover up all the scuttle trim clips and any other plastic studs I can get off as I have never found aftermarket ones that fit correctly. An inner door handle is always on my list too as guess who keeps breaking the clips on the chrome surround when removing the handle for access (which is required quote regularly!) I need to go up with my rattle gun when there's a 75 and just strip it to fuck to keep mine going. Some parts are quite expensive. Weird Car
Getting the ZT MOT ready today, it’s going to be nice to have the 75 and ZT legal and usable and maybe it’ll stop me putting so many miles on the Austin, it’s booked in for next Saturday so fingers crossed. Rover414
I picked one of these up over the summer, 1.8 Turbo - nice enough, high miles but has had loads spent on it. Just need to replace the drivers door window regulator at the moment otherwise running fairly fine. wuvvum, RoverFolkUs, Split_Pin and 3 others

A few years back I asked why my IPK screen had suddenly started displaying in French and nobody seemed to have come across it before. (It still displays in French now, and the car's had a new ECU since then so that's not the issue.) Started the 75 up at lunchtime and the IPK is back to reading in English again. No, I have no idea either. BorniteIdentity

Weird Car
So the ZT passed the MOT then completely shat itself on the way back, we believe it’s the coil pack, then Mr WC’s 75 dumped all its coolant on its way to come rescue me 🤦♀️ Split_Pin, High Jetter and Yoss
RoverFolkUs
Look at this beast Old English white(?) with the aubergine interior Unfortunately it's a "find another" wanker asking £950 for a sans-MOT 75. And a kippered clutch by the sounds of it.. Worth it to someone maybe.. OMG BRAN FIND M9 !!!! High Jetter, Justwatching and Weird Car 2
2flags
Lovely looking car, but, with no MoT and a suspect clutch, worth maybe £400 tops? More probably than the scrap man would give you, but I feel that is all. High Jetter, Split_Pin and RoverFolkUs
Split_Pin
Yes I saw that one the other day. It's surprising how many posts appear on the 75 Facebook pages asking if this 75 they've just bought is worth anything. Usually an example that's been out of MOT for 2 years, bits of broken trim littering the interior and beige cloth seats that are black and shining with body grease.
