We've left Colonsay this evening, currently about 35 mins from Oban,

The views from the boat are stunning - Mull looks particularly atmospheric

Amazing pics there @320touring, I must get up there again.

One time I went, some mates who went diving, needed a towcar ( more boats than car with towbars, not sure how they managed that?)

I went to lochaline.

Turned off the main road , into a single track lane, and saw the sign

Lochaline

23 miles!

It was one of the best drives of my life !

No, basements are below ground level by definition 😀

I did wonder about a top floor, but no windows at the front and not a great height by the looks of it.

Having the basement in the attic would be a good move though, no chance of it flooding .

Not grin exactly but interesting.

Actually rather sad as this beautiful, smart and vibrant woman has been bedbound for the best part of two years, a result of Covid infection.

As a physicist and generally intelligent person I'm sure she had the appropriate injections, but still caught it and is now unable to do anything for herself.

Colonsay looks pretty stunning today - could not have asked for better weather. Even the ground under foot was mainly dry and easily traversed.

113% would recommend!

Have you swam in the sea yet? I bet its bastard cold. Looks great, it calls you in, your feel turn blue as they touch the water.

The sea around the U.K. reaches its highest in September as it lags behind air and land temperature.

Not saying it’s going to be like the Caribbean though.

Amazing find, something badged British Leyland that isn't rusty, dented or broken.
