320touring Posted September 15, 2024 Posted September 15, 2024 Braw day today! Was out with @Tickman and his boss today, had a great wander up to the Bracklin Falls in Callander - absolutely stunning, and a new bridge has been installed so you can get to the far side of them now. Then I was out with the Burd and the outlaws for a meal tonight.. Firstly the pub had this available So I thoroughly enjoyed role playing as my grandpa in the miners welfare 1988. The meal was delicious and on the way home the Campsies looked stunning! Vantman, MiniMinorMk3, myglaren and 11 others 14

I remember playing with this, a black Bakelite / ivory elephant and a giant conch shell they had.

The guy that features in the title comes over as a bit of a dick - but there is a fella later on that lays it out as it is - graduate tax, not a loan. Currently I owe about 20% more than my student load was - not sweating it,

Took full loans for four years at uni, £25/30k? Even including nearly a decade not earning enough to meet the repayment threshold, I finished paying it off last year. Mates of mine a few years younger went to the same universities, did the same courses, now owe £30-40k with no realistic prospect of ever paying it off.
myglaren Posted September 17, 2024 Posted September 17, 2024 My eldest lad had a letter from the student loans mob, expecting them asking for more money when he opened it, he found that he had paid it twice, huge windfall for him. They even paid the interest on the overpayment. ProgRocker, GrumpiusMaximus, Tickman and 2 others 2 3
