At a CofE primary school having to sing hymns;

”I am the Lord of the dance settee”

Couldn't understand why Jesus would be dancing on a sofa.

As a child, I always thought the earlier part of the verse was 'dance stands, whoever you may be...'

That was the go-to hymn in our primary school hall for most of my time there. I assume the music teacher particularly liked that one or something.

My primary school teacher used to be able to belt that out on the piano and we all had to sing it. Yous have unlocked a memory I had forgotten about. 😂

Our father, who art in heaven, Harold be thy name.

As it’s common for sons to have the father’s name as their second name , we can assume the “H” in “Jesus H Christ” stands for Harold.

No it's legit, Cleckhuddersfax is the term for the sort of sprawl from about Ossett/Dewsbury to Halifax/Huddersfield, it's a pretty much continuous conurbation and one of the largest outside London or summat.

My verdict? Stimulating and surprisingly palatable.

Saw a green Transit this morning.  No photo but I think we all know what a green Transit looks like.  This one was signwritten up for a Landscaping Contractor named (and here's the Grin) Gardner's.

That would be criminal. Everything works and it drives spot on. The engine is silent as a fish and pulls really well. Plus it has all the velours.
