After dealing with the idiocy and incompetence of the local GSF branch I decided to pull up in this car park to cheer myself up 

Prior to being a fine dining establishment it was a car dealership for this brand...

The whole barrier edge remains with most of it covered in shrubbery

What are you trying to say here? I for one never questioned it, but now that I know the truth I scan see it must have cost a lot of money for the USS Enterprise to take off each time, so they probably wanted to save money by leaving it on the ground and film as if it were flying around space as usual.

Needless to say, the scenes where the Enterprise is having a battle against other spacecraft and stuff would have to be filmed up in space though. Obviously.

You’ll be telling us they used a rubber shark in Jaws next because it cost too much to train a real one!
